![]() ![]() She puts so much energy into the read, you can hear the emotion at key points. She does a fabulous job of keeping voices distinct and consistent. She has a wonderful quality to her voice and an appealing tone. I listened to the audiobook narrated by Stella Bloom, who has a nice read. It isn't the hottest book I have read, but it is far from lukewarm. ![]() The bedroom door is open and has some nice steam. It is not a fast paced action read like the first book in the series. We have too many scenes that are not needed, loads of day to day. The only issue is that the story is rather slow at times. The interactions between the two are great. She makes him work to gain her trust again. I really like that it is not an easy fix for him. Too bad he does something severely stupid and messes things up. Abe is a great match for her, it is great seeing him work for her love and trust. ![]() It was not happy reading, but necessary for understanding where she is coming from and why she is so shut off. Alabama does not have a very nice begging. This is not a book for people with triggers!! Be warned things start off rough and child abuse is prevalent. ![]() Oh Gawd, this book puts you through the ringer!! Starting off with Alabama's early years. ![]()
